Description
This is a free-flowering, colourful mix, which produces very pretty, fluted cup-like, upward-facing flowers in good, bright colours. Its blooms are like crumpled silk, excellent for borders and cut flowers.
Sow outdoors from March to May or September to October, where they are to flower, 0.5cm deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin seedlings to 20cm apart. For a longer display, make a later second sowing. Water well until plants are established. Sowings made in curves, rather than straight lines, often create a more pleasing effect. Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year, often earlier than spring sowings. Flowers from June to September.
